This is a great cleanser for oily and blemish prone skin. I wrote to the company why they put hydrogenated castor oil and they said that it was used for fragrance. This cleanser will clean out your makeup too and it will not leave your face tight and dry like other harsh cleansers can. You'll have really soft skin after using it. Since I have oily skin I like to scrub it with a scrubbing cloth to gently exfoliate dead skin cells. I like the scent it's not too strong.

Foaming cleanser is better
I like the microbeads that gently exfoliate but the cream leaves my skin with a heavy gunky feeling. The Definity foaming cleanser has the same microbeads but the foam does a much better job of leaving my skin feeling very smooth clean and fresh with no heaviness.

how to use itI have an old Panasonic EH2501 that I have used for several years at least once per month. The water mister is useless I do not need it no one does. I do not use the big suction cup only the little concentrated small cup side does the job well for me.
First off wash your face with a soapy cleanser like a neutrogena bar this will soften up your skin and the plugs in the pores (cleansing creams or cold creams won't work to get the right softness). You can even steam with a warm wash cloth after the soapy cleanser. Once your face is softened then you can use this pore cleanser. Don't let you face get dry at any time during the pore cleansing. Keep your face wet with warm water not merely moist. The wetness on your skin will help you have a good sealed suction cup against your skin. The wetness also keeps those pore plugs water-logged and soft and easy to remove. Move the small side cup over skin keeping the cup constantly moving.
The first time you may get what some call the 'scraping off' of surface dead cells (since the surface skin is now wet and soft) but keep at it and re-wet skin with warm water if needed and the next time you move the cup over that spot it will remove the contents of pores now that the surface dead layers are out of the way.
Do not just use this on dry skin misted over using the mist attachment or you will be disappointed. Don't use the big cup side and don't forget to keep the suction cup moving unless you want to create the appearance of a hickey.
I would not hesitate to buy this brand and product again (I visited the page tempted to get a newer improved model). I am amazed that there are people that don't use it right and blame the product but then it is also the manufacturer's fault for adding a useless mist attachment and representing that you can use this starting out with dry skin. If I only used the dry skin and mist approach I would be angry about the experience too.

Really Great Gentle Facial CleanserCetaphil is an amazing product. Our family has been using it for the longest time. It is not sudsy like ordinary soap which makes it very easy to rinse. You will not spend a lot of time just to remove that slippery feeling when using soaps. After you dry with a face towel you will feel the difference on your skin. Oil is gone without you face feeling stretch dry. It is very gentle it was recommended before by my wife's derma for one of my sons when he had a skin problem. It does work as a shaving lubricant too.

Olay RegeneristI do not know what to expect from this product. It is creamy and gentle but as for results I am not sure if I have actually seen any yet. It has been at least 2 weeks since I began using the cleanser but overall I cannot complain. The value of this product is definitely worth it. Receiving 4 cleansers for [...] bucks was very reasonable.

Best Facial Cleaner I've TriedAfter years of searching I read some consumer testing that this was the best facial cleanser so I tried it. I was not disappointed. It removes all traces of dirt and makeup (even mascara). You can even test it by using a skin toner and a cottonball afterwards and your cottonball will be clean.
I've used this for over a year and it is absolutely my favorite facial cleaner it gets my face the cleanest and does not dry my face nor make it feel tight.
Love it and recommend highly.

Perfect for adult sensitive skinI have oily skin and have battled acne even into adulthood. I tried this by accident because it was on sale at the store and my skin started to clear up over time. I didn't think it was the cleanser so I later bought a cheaper gentle cleanser at the store and my face dried up really quickly and then I started to break out again.
The cleansers out there made for acne is formulated for teenagers and are really harsh on the skin. The difference between this and some of the other gentle cleansers out there is that it moisturizes also. Dry skin typically tells your face to produce more oil (at least that's what I read). I give it 5 stars because it seems like my skin needed "extra" gentleness and this worked for me.

Aqua Glycolic - LOVE this product line! When I was receiving a facial several years ago the esthetician suggested I try this line of products. (And she wasn't trying to sell it to me because they didn't stock this). I tended to have issues with Adult Acne - annoying large cysts along my jawline and they seemed to last forever. Within a short time of using this line of products they stopped appearing and I just won't go back to using anything else. I have been using Aqua Glycolic for at least 3 years now and my skin looks and feels so much better! And the nice side effect is that I don't tend to use as much concealer or base makeup because I don't need to cover much up. For anyone with Adult Acne issues I recommend trying these products. Hope you are as happy with the results!

Excellent ProductMy acne is not naturally occurring it is a side effect from medication I have been taking for more than 15 years and it is very difficult to find a product that works. I have found that this is the best product I have tried that actually does what it says it will do which is clear up acne. While it does not entirely prevent all my acne it is definitely the best out of all the products I have tried and... I have tried them all.
